Due to its strong security and effectiveness, biometric authentication systems are becoming more and more used in a variety of businesses. However, there is a significant risk of biometric spoofing attacks, which might result in illegal access and data breaches. The objective of this research is to investigate the potential roles in today’s artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) methods in identifying and preventing such attacks. We carefully examine biometric data using deep learning and support vector machines to spot irregularities and any spoofing activities. To strengthen the security of these systems, we also explore the integration of several biometric modalities. Our study highlights how AI and ML techniques may significantly improve biometric authentication’s accuracy and reliability while lowering the danger of data leaks and cyberattacks.
