What do members do?

SHC Student Council membership is open to all students enrolled in the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State.  Unlike in high school, where your Student Council’s biggest decision of the year revolved around what color balloons to purchase for the Under the Sea prom (okay, maybe that was just my school), SHC StuCo makes a significant impact in the Schreyer and Penn State communities. Active members attend regular general meetings and help with the planning and executing of fundraising and social events. They vote on issues, contribute to a committee, and are also welcome to run for Executive Board positions. The council relies on these members for opinions and fresh ideas on how to continually enhance the Schreyer experience.
