Organization Station: Women in Business

Women in Business (WIB) began in October 1997 under the direction of Jocelyn Bennett, Coordinator of Minority Affairs within the Smeal College of Business Administration.  During the spring semester of 1998, WIB received its official charter from the University.  Starting out with just a membership of seven (the entire executive board), WIB has grown enormously over the past nine years, and now boasts over 300 members. Throughout the years, WIB has defined four pillars of the organization: Leadership, Community Service, Networking, and Professional Development. Currently, WIB welcomes both male and female undergraduate students of all majors into the organization.
