The following attributes are now visible in the “Overview” screen of the Starfish student folder. These attributes are intended to assist you in helping students transition from one semester to the next in their enrollment (e.g., during course registration or academic reviews).
- UGRD Not Registered for Upcoming Spring or Fall Semester and GRAD Not Registered for Upcoming Spring or Fall Semester
- Identifies students who have not enrolled in courses for the upcoming term one or more weeks past their enrollment appointment
- Excludes summer terms
- Excludes first-year and transfer students in their first semester at Penn State (University Park and Commonwealth Campuses)
- Includes first-year and transfer students in their first semester at World Campus
- Attribute visible and assigned value of “Not registered” for any student who meets these criteria
- Credits Scheduled for Fall Semester, Credits Scheduled for Spring Semester, and Credits Scheduled for Summer Semester for all careers (UGRD, GRAD, MEDS, MEDG, etc.)
- Replace each career’s Semester Credits (Term Units) attribute, which has been discontinued
- Break down enrollment by term to improve upon intended functionality and accuracy
- Display the total term units for the current term or the total term units for the next two semesters. E.g.,
- In the fall term, UGRD Credits Scheduled for Fall Semester displays currently enrolled credits
- In the spring term, UGRD Credits Scheduled for Fall Semester displays credits a student has registered to take the following fall
- Display only if the term units for the given semester are greater than zero
- UGRD Credits Attempted at PSU (ETM units) for UGRD only
- Credits attempted for a grade at Penn State (i.e., cumulative “GPA units” on transcripts), including credits that resulted in F grades
- Matches ETM units on What If Reports for administratively controlled majors
- Please Note: The existing UGRD Cumulative Credits Earned at Penn State attribute shows the number of credits earned with grades above F
