The mid-semester progress survey period has closed for the fall 2024 semester. Once closed, individual progress surveys cannot be reopened. However, we recognize there are reasons why instructors may be unable to complete the surveys within the window. To help with this, there are two other methods for instructors to share information with students, academic advisers, and others in Starfish at any time of the semester.
Of these options, “manual raise” is a good choice if you have a small class or just a handful of students you really want to flag for concerns or recognize with kudos. Alternatively, “zoom in” is a good choice if you have a larger class and are already using Canvas Grade—data from the Canvas gradebook can be brought into Starfish and different feedback options set by grade earned to get you started.
