Mid-Semester Progress Surveys have closed for the spring 2024 semester. Once the survey period is over, individual progress surveys cannot be reopened. However, we recognize there are reasons why instructors may be unable to complete the survey within the survey window. To help with this, there are two other methods for instructors to share information with students and their assigned advisers in Starfish at any time of the semester.

Of these options, “manual raise” is a good choice if you have a small class or just a handful of students you really want to flag for concerns, assign to-dos, or recognize with kudos. Alternatively, “Zoom In” is a good choice if you have a larger class and are already using Canvas Grade—data from the Canvas gradebook can be brought into Starfish and different feedback options set by grade earned to get you started.
