The Global Asias Cyber Chats program sponsors discussion about the methods and praxis of Global Asias as an evolving institutional form. Hosted by Penn State’s Global Asias Initiative and the journal Verge: Studies in Global Asias, GA Cyber Chats are virtual discussions and workshops designed to identify some of the challenges of multi-disciplinary and trans-field collaboration, and to lay groundwork for shifts in thinking about the subjects, objects, methods, and praxes of the institutional structures organizing the academic study of Asia and its multiple diasporas.
