Purpose and Rules of the Global Asias Listserv
The Global Asias Listserv is a way to connect with scholars doing Global Asias scholarship, and to foster discussions across regional, disciplinary, and institutional divides. In the spirit of Verge‘s Global Asias editorial mission, which encourages non-aligned relationality as both theoretical aim and collective enactment, please remember that while we don’t have to necessarily agree, we are committed to keeping lines of communication open and to cultivating productive dissensus. This is a space for opening up new avenues of generative discussion and we ask listserv members keep that in mind when they reply or post.

How to Subscribe to the Global Asias Listserv
Subscribe via email by sending an email to listserv@lists.psu.edu.
Example:
TO: listserv@lists.psu.edu
Subject: Subscribe Request (Or subject may be left blank.)
Body: subscribe Global-Asias-Listserv-L First name last name

NOTE: The server will capture your email address from the Email Headers. No need to include it in the subject or body. It should also be mentioned that the body of your email must not contain anything other than the command. This includes signatures or attachments or else you may receive an error message back.

How to Unsubscribe
Unsubscribe by sending an email to  listserv@lists.psu.edu. 
Example:
TO: listserv@lists.psu.edu
Subject: SIGNOFF (Or may be left blank.)
Body: signoff Global-Asias-Listserv-L

NOTE: Again, like the subscribe command, there must only be the command in the body of your email, or else you may receive an error message in return. Please refrain from using signatures when sending commands to PSU ListServ.
