Congratulations on getting such a good mix of larger and smaller birds from which to draw conclusions. The observation that when the smaller seed was gone, the smaller birds would then eat the sunflower seed, puts the focus on how the energy equation can change its balance. Presumably, there is an upper limit to how large the seeds can be before beak size really limits possibilities, but larger beaked birds also like an easy feeding situation apparently. This was very clearly presented.
