Committee Directors

Executive Director

Mikayla Harris

Major: Master’s in Higher Education (current) graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Psychology

Fun facts: I’m a big sister to 3 younger siblings – the youngest being 20 years apart from me. My favorite movies are the Nightmare Before Christmas and Mean Girls. In my spare time I like to hike and kayak. My favorite candy is KitKat’s and I just got married this past August!

My favorite Homecoming memory is from 2018 where my aunt Heather, my cousin Bella, my mom Stacey, and my great grandma Aura got to come and spend Homecoming weekend with me! Although it rained, we got to spend some quality girl time together, got fed lunch, played in the bouncy houses, and even got the famous picture with the Nittany Lion statue! Unfortunately, 2 years later we lost my great grandma Aura, so I really cherish that I was able to get a homecoming memory with her in it before that happened! I remember her telling me that “you Penn Staters know how to party” so my goal as Executive Director is to keep that alive and keep on “knowing how to party” in memory of my grandma!

Assistant Executive Director

Peter Denyer

Major: Geospatial Intelligence Analytics

Fun fact: I’m a tri-citizen from the USA, Canada, and the United Kingdom

Reason for involvement: I’ve always seen myself as a leader and love getting involved with school activities!

This will be my first experience with Homecoming, my undergrad college didn’t even have a football team!

Alumni Relations Director

Yuki Yamashita

Major: International politics (w/ pre-majoring in psychology)

Fun fact: I’ve recently started a part time job online.

I want to nurture my leadership skills by cooperating with my peers and faculties.

Merchandise Director

Linda Teti

Major: Law and Society

Fun fact: I am a first-generation college student.

My favorite homecoming memory is when I participated in the virtual events for last year. It was so much fun and it was great to meet everyone throughout all the events, and it was my very first homecoming! My reason for involvement is to encourage other Penn Staters to get involved and to remind them that there is community of people here who are nothing but caring and supportive. Homecoming brings people together in our wonderful community at Penn State World Campus. It is truly a once in a lifetime experience, and I am so grateful to be a part of this. We Are!

Court Relations Director

Gina Bakey

Major: Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management (RPTM).

Fun fact: One of the reasons I am majoring in RPTM is to work in Disney World. I am a huge Disney fan and have been to the parks 19 times!

One of my favorite homecoming memories has to be when I was chosen to be on World Campus’ Inaugural Homecoming Court in 2021. It was truly an honor to be able to serve, walk in the parade, and enjoy the homecoming events as a court member! It is full circle now serving as the Court Relations Director!

My reason for being involved in the Homecoming Committee is because it’s nice being able to plan homecoming events that take place both virtual and in-person at University Park. It is amazing being able to be a part of something that continues to grow each year and will soon become a tradition! 💙

Co – Global Media & Marketing Director

Bryan Rossetti

Major: Film Production

I chose the role of co-director because, along with having the time of my life working with incredible people and building friendships with each member, director (& past directors), I believe it will help me improve my creativity.

Fun fact: I have worked on multiple television shows as an Extra.

My favorite World Campus Homecoming memory would be meeting the committee members in person, and participating in the major World Campus Homecoming events.
