It is with very mixed feelings that I write this entry. After roughly six and a half years of being the World Campus Psychology Club advisor, it is time for me to move on. I will still be around as a member of the club and involved in other ways such as remaining advisor to the World Campus Psi Chi Chapter. Dr. Judi Withrow will be assuming the role of the club’s advisor starting immediately. She will be a wonderful resource for you all as she is an excellent online instructor and teacher in general.
There are several reasons for the transition, but the primary one is that the club is strong enough and has the infrastructure to exist without as much organizational history as was once needed. That is a great testament to all of you who make this club not only function but thrive.
As I reflect back on this club, it really has been a joy to watch it grow from student interest, to legitimate club, to World Campus Psychology Department community, to one of the flagships of student achievements at the World Campus.
As this is far from the end, I will say au revoir rather than goodbye, as I am sure that I will see you all again. In the meantime, please keep up the great work as I know you will accomplish great things for us all.
Brian, one of the greatest attributes of leaders and successful people is knowing when to let go and move on. Thank you for your service the past six plus years with yhe club and your message. As I have a way to go in my Education at Penn State and career goals in happy valley, I look forward to watching you excel and grow with the online community as well!
Blessings
