Last night kicked off our first WCPC Book Club event! The first reading is: Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat by Simon & Schuster. We will have an open discussion about the article during the August meeting, hope you can join in!!
Looking ahead for September, we will be focusing on Grit by Dr. Angela Duckworth and the group will discuss it during the September meeting. Also, our guest speaker will be Amanda Kras, who will be discussing sexual trauma in the military.
Please check out Activeminds.org or find Active Minds under Interest Groups on Yammer~ there is a new World Campus Chapter starting up and they are looking for new members. The group focuses on helping college students struggling with mental health issues and getting them help. Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death among college students and nearly 1100 college students commit suicide each year. Please consider becoming a member!
