Tonight we heard from Amanda Kras, who is a psychologist and Military Sexual Trauma Coordinator at the VA Medical Center in Albany, NY. I posted the highlights of her speech in the minutes if you want to find out more about MST! It was great to have her and we appreciate that she took the time to attend.
Next month, our guest speaker will be Dr. Jeff Love, who is the instructor for Psych 412 Adolescence here at PSU World Campus. Also, WCPC member Kristin Ott will be giving members information about the 22Kill event that we are hoping to accomplish this term.
We ran out of time tonight, but we postponed the book club discussion of Grit until our next meeting, which is October 18th @ 8:30pm ET.
