About CLTNet
was an initiative spearheaded by the Center for Advanced Language Proficiency Education and Research at Penn State under a grant from the Unites States Department of Education. It aimed at supporting teachers of Chinese throughout the state of Pennsylvania by functioning as a hub for resources and by connecting teachers to one another.
CLTNet of PA organized professional events on a regular basis during the five year grant cycle.
CLTNet of PA researched quality resources that will help you find information about a range of themes relevant to the professional life a a teacher of Chinese. As this site grows, we hope you will visit often and make use of the content.
CLTNet of PA also published a quarterly newsletter – October, February, April, June -that you can subscribe to and receive short announcements of interest in your email inbox.
We are still maintaining our listserv and we invite you to join CLTNet of PA and be part of the network of teachers of Chinese in our state.
