Project Description

This project measured residents’ attitudes toward and preferences over design attributes of green stormwater management. In a survey, residents of basins that drain into the Delaware and Chesapeake Bays were presented with stated choice questions that project-4-imagewere designed to reveal how they view different design attributes including plant diversity, mowing percentage, and standing water. The survey also measured residents’ willingness to pay for changes in attributes of the landscape that can be affected by green stormwater management opportunities.
