As we try to adapt to this new work environment I wnted to let everyone know that the Staff Advisory Council is still working for YOU, and since the majority of us are working remotely we started to look for some helpful how to’s to share.  So I came across this great article, yes folks I do read, and wanted to share it with you.  It focuses on the top 20 tips for working from home.   It was a bit lengthy so I condensed it down to 10 that are most relevant to us. I have attached it as a PDF.  If you wish to read the whole article you can check it out at https://blog.hubspot.com/marketing/productivity-tips-working-from-home.

One of the many strengths that College of Education has prided itself on is its sense of community.  Just because we don’t see each other physically everyday doesn’t mean we have lost this.  We have many great tools provided by the University to keep this community active, especially Microsoft Teams.  Drew and Mike have created a tutorial video to help everyone get comfortable using Teams. The video can be found at https://psu.zoom.us/rec/share/4PNZC5j-0W9JeZH_6n3ZBrdiG7-0aaa82yAc8vAEyk9tZbxHlE4pJdKz1K6hukxI. I have also included a quick reference guide.  If anyone would like the PowerPoint please let me know and I can send you a copy.
