Announcement

The seventh Emerging Researchers in Exoplanet Science (ERES) Symposium took place July 31st–August 2nd, 2022 at Penn State. Thank you to all presenters and participants for making such a successful event!

ERES (pronounced EE-rez) aims to give early-career scientists an opportunity to present their research and network with peers in order to enhance collaboration within the exoplanet community. Researchers of all career stages working in all branches of exoplanetary science and related disciplines are encouraged to attend – though if necessary, preference will be given to early-career participants (e.g., undergraduates, graduate students, and postdocs) in the participant selection process. Thanks to generous funding from The Heising-Simons Foundation we intend to cover registration fees and travel costs for many of the accepted participants.

Because networking is an important part of this symposium, we will hold ERES VII in person at Penn State, with limited virtual support in the form of digital posters. In response to COVID-19, we have formulated policy to maximally protect the health and safety of all symposium participants. Please check our COVID-19 page for updates.

Registration, abstract submission, and applications for travel support are closed. Registrants were notified of their abstract and travel support status via email in the first week of June.

If you have any questions, please contact the Organizing Committee via l-eres-2022-questions@lists.psu.edu. For updates and more, follow us on Twitter @ERESsym.
