Dr. Hedglin and Samuel Perreault (5th Year, Chemistry PhD) attended the Annual Meeting for the Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Society (EMGS) in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Hedglin presented a seminar on the research of Hedglin lab member Rachel Dannenberg (4th year, Chemistry PhD), which focuses on the replication conflicts in lagging strand DNA templates. Samuel Perreault presented a seminar on his research focused on a ubiquitin cascade involved in the replication of damaged DNA sequences within the human genome.
