Dr. Hedglin chaired a symposium at the 52nd Annual Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting (MARM) of the American Chemical Society, which was hosted by the Central Pennsylvania Section of the American Chemistry Society. The symposium was comprised of five sessions (detailed below), each covering a broad area of Nucleic Acids Metabolism and featuring oral presentations from graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and principal investigators from institutions spanning the Mid-Atlantic Region of the United States.
Session 1: Protein-DNA Interactions during DNA Repair
Session 2: Enzymes that Synthesize DNA or RNA
Session 3: Modifications of DNA and RNA by Cellular Factors
Session 4: Interplay Between Nucleic Acid Structure and Physiology
Session 5: Nucleic Acid Metabolism Regulation & Implications in Disease
