NE Montana Fieldcourse

This past summer I finished my degree in Earth and Space Science with a Biology emphasis at the University of Washington. The last course I took was Paleontology Field Methods and Research. We worked on lands around Hell Creek State Park and Jordan, MT. The sedimentary record in these areas preserved fossils across the K-Pg mass extinction event. The program is run by the Wilson Lab, which primarily focuses on the evolution and ecology of mammals during this transition.

The area was truly beautiful and it was a great experience!
