This paper is my second and most recent, and will be featured at the 8th International IEEE EMBS Conference on Neural Engineering (NER’17) this summer. It is similar to the paper accepted into ISBI 17 in that it investigates a certain kind of algorithm that improves image quality in ultrasound scans of the brains. This paper uses algorithms that exploit sparse properties of the data to improve performance. It was also similar in that the audience was once again primarily doctors. Fortunately I think my experience in writing the ISBI paper aided me in making even further improvements to be clear and concise with establishing necessary background information.
