Human Frontier Science Program grant awarded!

The Keim Lab will study connections between material and neural memory, in collaboration with the labs of Prof. Mathew Diamond, SISSA (Trieste, Italy), and Prof. Omri Barak, Technion (Haifa, Israel). The project, “Memory — from material to mind,” will focus on systems that can store and process multiple inputs on short and long timescales, and how there could be a common framework for identifying and modeling these behaviors in biological, computational, and material systems. HFSP awards are highly competitive: this year, 21 projects were funded from among 709 letters of intent.

The award is featured in press releases from SISSA and Technion.
