Mary Louise Witmer Jones Resident Physician Humanitarian Award in Memory of Jane Witmer Kienle, M.D.
On her death in 1997, Mary Louise Witmer Jones of Medford, New Jersey, established an endowment to make possible an annual award in memory of her sister, Jane Witmer Kienle, M.D. The purpose of this award is to recognize a Milton S.Hershey Medical Center resident physician. To be eligible, the physician must have completed one year of residency training at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and must be continuing residency at this institution for at least one additional year following the award. This tribute and its accompanying award will be presented in April to the individual and in September publicly at the Kienle Annual Meeting.
