Lorna Davis posts a “More About Me” poster in a patient room.
Kienle staff visits with patients admitted to the hospital. During a brief chat, staff learn three important nonmedical pieces of information about the individual. They create signs and post these three items over the patient’s bed so that healthcare providers can engage with the patient on a more personal level. This program’s intent is to positively impact patient and healthcare provider experience.
LaDora Field and Louann Benedict (not pictured) also visit patients who are admitted for longer-term stays.
