In two days, summer session will officially come to an end. For me, it feels like the past six weeks flew by. You know what they say, time flies when you’re having fun and I certainly enjoyed summer session.
Being here in the summer has allowed me to notice so many different things that I can use to my advantage in the fall. For one thing, I will never again wait until the night before a test to start studying. Studying at 4am is not something I would even wish on my worst enemy. Also, the dining commons is not that great, but it is better than realizing you are out of lion cash and running low on meal points with a week left. Yes, this is what places like Chipotle, Insomnia Cookies, and Are U Hungry will do to you. And if you are looking for places to study the library, pollock building, and the HUB are great places to go.
Moreover, I can not wait to see all the new friends I have made when we come back for the fall semester, but first we must all go home for a week. Personally, I feel that we should’ve had more time off than a week, but I guess we are lucky we are getting any sort of break. But before we go anywhere there is still much to do, for me at least. I have to complete the BBH assignment, return my textbooks, move some of my stuff into McKean in East Halls, and clean my dorm all before Wednesday. Cleaning and packing should be quite the adventure. The things I am packing are not exactly lined up and ready to go and the floor could use a good amount of mopping. Oh and the check out sheets that were slipped under our door look like anything but easy to follow. Needless to say, none of this really matters because in about two weeks we will all be back in our favorite place, and that is what matters.

Summer went so fast, maybe a little too fast! I wish we could go back in time and experience it all over again because it was definitely the best summer I’ve had so far. Although, I’m sure fall will be even 10x better with all the new opportunities.

Summer classes honestly did fly by. I can’t wait to move everything out and come back in the week. I honestly don’t want to leave because all my friends live in the same building and I know in the fall it will not be the same.
