Diversity has many faces, sizes, shapes, and colors. When you hear the word, most would immediately think of race or ethnic groups– but that’s not all that diversity is! Looking around Arts Fest, there were plenty of ways one could showcase diversity, and I decided on handbags. When it comes to fashion, diversity is everywhere. I saw plenty of crossbody ones, along with over-the-shoulder, wristlets, and even backpacks. Some were clearly made by big name designers, like the Michael Kors above. Many were made of different materials, and nearly all were different colors (or many colors in one!). You can diversity anywhere; you just need to look underneath the underneath.
