When i play video games, i am one of those people who look for different glitches and mods for the game after i play it for awhile. For an example, when the new Grand Theft Auto came out I played the campaign for a little bit and then i went straight to the modded version of the game. I find it a lot more fun to have all of the money in the world and have access to all weapons and vehicles and having a good time in the city. I am sure this is not how the creators of the game panned it out to be like this but things like this make the game sell and more fun to play for a lot of people. Another example of this would be in the older Call of Duties. In world at war and the modern warfare games were pretty fun when they first came out and i enjoy playing them more today than ever. Why i say this is because the online servers for the games are still up but they are not being monitored or anything like that for modding so i have a field day when i play online. I enjoy making me and my team fly around the map with unlimited health and ammo and trying new things of that nature when i play the older of the call of duty games.

Unintentional emergence is something that happens when creative uses of the video game were not intended by the game designers. A good example of this would probably have to be Grand theft auto again. The designers did not have these hacks, mods, and glitches in mind while they were creating this game. But they make the game more fun and it opens the door for creativity and more fun things can happen with these modifications to the game,

Intentional emergence occurs when some creative uses are intended by the designers of the game to make  it more fun to play. I am not really sure of a good example of a game that uses this kind of emergence. I would never think that creators of a game would intentionally want players to mod the games that they created, but maybe poker would be one i guess. Why i say this is because there are different ways to play poker and different games and such like texas hold em
