Support

Each year the NASA Pennsylvania Space Grant Consortium (PSGC) receives funds from the national NASA Space Grant Project to develop and implement student fellowships and scholarships programs; interdisciplinary space-related research infrastructure, education, and public service programs; and cooperative initiatives with industry, research laboratories, and state, local, and other governments. The PSGC operates at the intersection of NASA’s national interest through alignment with Mission Directorates and Pennsylvania’s educational and economic interests. Although it is primarily a higher education program, PSGC programs encompass the entire length of the education pipeline, including elementary/secondary and informal education.

The PSGC provides the following opportunities and support:

  • Competitive Internship, Fellowship, and Scholarship Programs
  • Competitive Mini-grant Programs for projects focused on the following themes: 1) Higher Education; 2) Research Infrastructure; 3) Pre-college; 4) Informal Education
