Dr. Ben Lee, Assistant Professor of Marketing, went to Fairview High School last Friday, where he gave a presentation on Marketing to Mrs. Wethli’s business class. He talked about what marketing is, discussing the 4 Ps of marketing (Product, Price, Place, and Promotion) and explaining what brands are. He also gave the students some examples of jobs in marketing and the day-to-day problems that marketers attempt to solve in their jobs.
The students participated in the discussion and reflected on what they learned afterwards. Here are a few quotes from students:
