Marketing
Why work in Marketing?
Marketing is a key to any organization. We can market anything – people (a political candidate), places (vacation spot), ideas (give blood), products (sneakers), or services (health care). At the center of all marketing efforts is the customer – whether that customer is an individual – like yourself, or another business like a grocery store or hospital. Firms identify their target customers and try to build profitable relationships with them by delivering value and satisfaction. Marketing is an “umbrella term” that includes activities such as marketing research, product development, advertising, social media, distribution, pricing, and many more.
