Business Day

What is Business Day?

Business Day is an annual event that usually takes place in the fall at the Black School of Business at Penn State Behrend. It is is designed to help local students gain an understanding of business basics by having them participate in a variety of activities.

Mock business courses, for example, give teens an idea of what to expect when taking classes in a business major, such as Accounting, Finance, and Management Information Systems. These experiences may help them determine whether they would like to pursue these fields after high school.

It is also an opportunity for participants to network with Behrend faculty members and learn about the various academic programs offered by the college.

Event Recap

Behrend Business Day took place on November 5th this year. Hundred and sixty students were in attendance coming from the following locol schools: Cassadaga Middle-High School, Cochranton Jr. Sr. High School, Corry Middle High School, Fairview High School, Fort LeBoeuf High School, Franklin Jr. Sr. High School, General McLane High School, North East High School, and Iroquois High School.
