Oral Presentations

All oral presentations will be in person this year.  Each presenter is provided a 20-minute time slot, with 15 minutes for their presentation and 5 minutes for audience questions. Session chairs will notify each speaker when they have reached the 10-minute mark, and will cut off all presentations after 15 minutes to maintain the event schedule. Presenters should practice and time their talk carefully before the event.

Presenters should be prepared to reach an interdisciplinary academic audience with basic scientific knowledge. Do not assume that the audience is intimately familiar with your specific field or its terminology; it is, therefore, recommended that such concepts and terminology are explicitly defined and/or explained during the presentations.
