Dr. Showalter was one of five Penn State faculty members selected as a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in 2022. This work recognizes our laboratory’s efforts to develop novel NMR methods for application to intrinsically disordered proteins and Dr. Showalter’s service to national societies and the biophysics community.
As described by the American Association for the Advancement of Science, “AAAS Fellows are a distinguished cadre of scientists, engineers and innovators who have been recognized for their achievements across disciplines, from research, teaching, and technology, to administration in academia, industry and government, to excellence in communicating and interpreting science to the public.”
