Tying Up Loose Ends
Today was commissioning day for the solar panel array. “Commissioning” is when an array is given a final inspection to assure that bolts are tightened and wires are connected. Thankfully, everything was in order and the switch was thrown to start providing solar power for the daycare; it was an exciting moment! Before leaving, the kids from the daycare thanked us and gave us letters of appreciation. The morning was a joyous time for everyone, and we are all glad to have done something good for the community. Next up on our agenda is to appreciate a little of what the island has to offer, and we are starting off with a zip-line adventure! It will be my first experience so it shall be exciting.
