Congratulations to Pete Wilkins (PhD student, START and ExCCL labs) for receiving the 2022 Allan J. Brockett Pratt & Whitney Award! Pete was provided the 2022 award for his outstanding research contributions on evaluating the effects of ceramic matrix composite topologies on heat transfer.

The Brockett Award was started in 2013 to honor a student with significant research and outreach contributions during their graduate career and to recognize the significant support given to Penn State by Mr. Allan Brockett, former VP of Engineering at Pratt & Whitney. Pete received the award during the annual Pratt & Whitney Center of Excellence review held at Penn State in June.
