President – Hannah Bauer
(she/her)
Hannah is a senior majoring in Biochemistry and is from Sykesville Maryland. She played soccer and ran track as a mid distance runner in high school. It wasn’t until Covid cancelled the soccer season, that Hannah tried cross country with a club team and fell in love with distance running. Club XC has by far been the best part of Hannah’s college experience! The team has provided her with a fun place to be herself and meet the most amazing people. She is so excited to be a part of the officer board this year and foster a positive environment for everyone! Outside of running you can find Hannah at THON events, on the 4th floor of the library, jamming out to country music (especially Luke Combs) and hanging out with friends!!

Race Management Chair – Hannah Ruisi
(she/her)
Hannah Ruisi is a senior majoring in meteorology from Richmond, VA. She started cross country in the beginning of high school to train for tennis but enjoyed running so much so that she stuck with it! Joining Club XC was one of the best decisions she made at Penn State. She is constantly in awe of the sense of comradery and grit found daily outside of Rec Hall, and the abundance of adventures with this team brings her extra meaning when she hears the term “Happy Valley”. She loves getting to know her teammates and is rarely without a somewhat dry joke up her sleeve. Outside of running, you can find her listening to her favorite song of the week on repeat (this is a great conversation starter) , at one of many exciting Club XC and THON events, or trying to make a new dinner or ‘desert’ recipe in her apartment (I told you the joke would be dry!).
