The Think Tank activities will take place at Ford Building (circled in blue) on the University Park Campus of Penn State University in State College, Pennsylvania. I have marked 4 hotels within walking distance of Ford Building (please click on the image to expand). The most convenient is the Nittany Lion Inn, which is located at the corner of West Park Avenue and North Atherton Street. The Quality Inn, the Sleep Inn, and the Comfort Suites are also a 10-15 minute walk away.

We have created a Doodle poll to provide assistance for attendees as they make housing arrangements. At the Doodle poll, you will find the following options:

1. I would like to share a hotel room at the Nittany Lion Inn
2. I would like to share a hotel room at a hotel within walking distance (e.g., Sleep Inn)
3. I would like to share an Air B’n’B
4. I would like to be considered for shared housing with a Penn State student
5. I have completed my housing arrangements

You can select as many options as you like. Please enter your email address and your first name, and check the Doodle poll regularly to see if there are other attendees with a match for your interests ( e.g., if someone else wants to share a hotel room).

You also have the ability to add “comments” at the bottom of the Doodle poll if you would like to provide additional information.

Once you see someone with a matching interest, please feel free to email them directly. For those of you with an interest in #4, Penn State students who are participating in the Think Tank will review the Doodle poll regularly, and, if they are able to accommodate an attendee during the ThinkTank, will contact you at the email address you provide.

Parking

Parking will be available at the Nittany Parking Deck (red rectangle in map below). This is across the street from the Ford Building. The charge is $1 per hour.
