We build a community by placing land in trust and homes in reach
Home buyers are central to our mission of creating affordable homeownership opportunities for residents who want to call State College home. Once a house becomes a land trust home, it remains permanently affordable to low-moderate income buyers forever. Even when a land trust homeowner wants to sell their home to leave the area or size up, the home will be sold to another income qualified buyer, thereby remaining affordable in perpetuity. SCCLT homeowners are teachers, bus drivers, IT professionals, social service workers, parents, grandparents, Penn State employees and small businesses owners.
