Most people have favorite mindless doodles that are drawn when the mind wanders. This class will start with several creative prompts that will start with doodling, then add in simple art elements such as shape and repetition. We will not be formally meditating, however each creative prompt will promote relaxation through repetition and creative flow. Participants will leave the workshop with a unique patchwork pattern drawing, as well as the ability to use these techniques in future meditative drawings. No drawing experience required. This workshop is for all skill levels
Materials you will need for this workshop:
- Paper- copy paper, notebook paper, or sketchbook paper will work well.
- Black- or dark-colored markers, pencils, or crayons.
- Colored markers, pencils. or crayons.
