Mindful Eating

Mindful Eating is a practice of bringing attention to what one is eating during a meal or at snack time.  Often, we can find ourselves mindlessly eating while multitasking as we watch television, scroll social media, work, read, drive, etc.  Pausing to focus solely on eating is a great practice that will allow for greater appreciation of flavors and aromas that add to the experience of eating.  This approach to eating helps to increase awareness around hunger levels and sensations of being full.  Embracing mindful eating can lead to improved eating habits and enjoyment of food in general.
