Enhancing Emergency Prevention Performance:
An Education and Training Program for Supervisors

An “advanced course” for mine managers in emergency prevention, the 2010 program includes eight extensive video lectures from mine industry and safety education experts on creating a culture of safety and accident prevention in the mining industry. Strong emphasis is also placed on proper pre-shift examination practices at underground coal and limestone operations.

Numerous videos and a virtual reality training program are among the training materials for supervisors.
