Heads up for your sweet tooth!

In my recent blog post, I blogged about the discovered health benefits of dark chocolate. Did you ever wonder what the health benefits are to milk or white chocolate? Are there any? Or are they nonexistent? The reason for the benefits in health from dark chocolate is that of the different types of chocolate, dark chocolate contains the most amount of cocoa of milk, dark, and white chocolate. Not all kind of chocolate are healthy! The lowering of cocoa in milk chocolate is the reason behind the sweeter taste. White chocolate does not contain any cocoa at all, only sugar, and a small quantity of cocoa powder. Dark chocolate contains many antioxidants, acids that can protect us from heart attacks, anticancer, and brain stimulator. White chocolate also contains a larger amount of calories than milk or dark chocolate, but does contain some calcium!! All of these chocolates should be taken in doses or they could all be bad for you. Some may ask: What candies are good for you?? The answer is, probably none. York peppermint patties only contain 140 calories, and no trans fats. These are definitely a good option if you are looking for a sweet treat!! Lindt chocolate bars are rich in cocoa, at 70%! They are also low in sugar compared to most other chocolate bars. Chunkie bars contain 3 grams of protein, so that may be a good way to satisfy your sweet tooth and stay full for a little bit of time! The only candy that is really good for you is Dark Chocolate even though it must be taken in doses. But a treat every once in a while never hurt anybody!!

Very interesting post abut chocolate, Never knew the fact that White Chocolate had no Cocoa in it! I also wanted to look into if Milk chocolate had any benefits. Whether they be beneficial with studies or mentally. From what I discovered it looks like Milk chocolate can be very beneficial to the heart and blood pressure. And it may have some help to keep away cancer. As a big chocolate lover myself, I’m glad you decided to write about this topic. here is the link to a weight watchers website that gave me some of my info. http://www.weightwatchers.com/util/art/index_art.aspx?tabnum=1&art_id=14761
