In summer 2016, I discovered electric skateboards. A year later I wanted to buy an electric skateboard to commute to work and class with. After scouring the internet, I could not find a quality electric skateboard for less than $1,000 so I decided to build one for half the price. With the help of the do it yourself online community I was able to build an electric skateboard that goes faster and has better range than most expensive e boards for sale. This document summarizes how the parts come together to make it work.
