Hej hej from Matt and Nick

It was all pretty surreal when they were at our respective airports, JFK and PHL, and neither of them knew what they were about to experience.

Matt had a seamless set of flights, then spent 5 hours on what was supposed to be a combined 3 1/2 hour train and bus route. Upon his arrival to Stockholm Central Station, he was unable to read a majority of the signs, but his first instinct was to buy a cappuccino and plan out the rest of his travel. Once on the train he befriended the man he was sitting next to who helped him out with translations and navigating through Sweden. Finally at the end of the elongated train and bus rides, Matt found himself at the hotel and his journey had only just begun.

Nick started his trip to Sweden in Philly, where he met his buddy Amanda to fly to their first layover in Frankfurt. They had smooth sailing in their flights from PHL to FRA and FRA to GOT and then then things got a little more confusing when it came time to board the busses. He found the language barrier was more of a problem, than anticipated when booking a train ride to Jonkoping. However it all worked out in the end and he and Amanda safely arrived in Jonkoping in time for dinner with the rest of the Penn State group.

Stay tuned for our continued adventure! Woo!
