I’m Kira, and I’m a sophomore studying risk management. I chose to take this course not for a GQ, but because it genuinely seemed to be an interesting class. I am planning on going in a different direction than originally planned which will lead me to a different school next semester for welding. I think this course is relevant to me mainly because my intended subject of study involves the use of various natural resources (gas, metals, etc.) I  think that “sustainability” is simply the method of either staying alive or lasting. This can mean literal living beings maintaining life, or figuratively speaking, something like  the “life” of a river before it dries up. “Resilience” is the capability something has to recover from losses or replenish depleting resources.
