Shannon Glenn received her B.A. in communication and sociology in 2018 and her M.P.H. in social and behavioral health sciences in 2020 from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. She worked as a research assistant/project manager for three years on several National Institute of Health (NIH) funded grants, where she worked on projects focusing on risk-taking behaviors such as youth substance use and frequent indoor tanning. She is currently a doctoral student in the Department of Biobehavioral Health at Penn State. She is particularly interested in research designed to develop, implement, and evaluate behavioral interventions to prevent youth and young adult substance use and related risk-taking behaviors.
