Dr. Veronica Richards received her Ph.D. in epidemiology, her M.P.H. in epidemiology, and her B.S. in biology from the University of Florida. She is a current postdoctoral fellow in the NIDA-funded T32 Prevention and Methodology Training (PAMT) program. Her research is focused on understanding how transdermal alcohol biosensors can be used to measure alcohol use in real-time. She is interested in studying how different biosensor-captured patterns of alcohol use can be used to predict and prevent alcohol-related consequences, including blackouts, in college students.
