Fall 2025 Kickoff 

Date and time: Sunday, September 7, 2025, 2-5 pm Please note the new day and time and location!

Doors open at 2:00. A short program will begin at 2:45.

Location: Wyndham Garden Hotel State College, 310 Elks Club Road, Boalsburg, Pennsylvania, 16827 (follow the signs to the hotel main entrance)

New and continuing members come to hear about activities and trips planned for our 2025-26 Club year, learn about our Interest Groups, catch up with treasured long-time friends while getting to know our newest members, and possibly meet our award and scholarship winners! No reservations needed!! In line with our mission to support University students, we request that you bring a donation (canned goods, rice, pasta, etc.) for Penn State’s student run Lion Pantry.

New members and women curious about the Club are welcome!

Although we recommend that you pay dues ahead of the Kickoff, there will be an opportunity to do so at the event. Light refreshments will be served.

Our Speaker: Larry Pruss is a recognized frequent industry media contributor and expert in the finance and fintech industries. At SRM Perspectives, he serves as a thought leader and strategist on faster payments, digital assets, and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and quantum computing.  

Larry presents and advises at many prestigious institutions and hosts SRM’s popular “Perspectives Live!” and “Tech Talks” webinar series. Outside of work, Larry dedicates his time as an emergency responder with the Centre County Search and Rescue Team in Pennsylvania.
