Once upon a time there lived a girl who thought she loved science; she even thought she was quite good at it. That is until she took honors chemistry and she realized sitting in her desk on the day of the first test that she was absolutely and positively screwed for the rest of the year. That girl was me. My name is Victoria Bushman and I’m from Manahawkin, New Jersey (the town outside of Long Beach Island) and I plan to major in broadcast journalism and political science. I took this class because not only had my advisor recommended it, but it didn’t involve ANY sort of math; at least not that I’m aware of….

Now while I do find science to be very intriguing , I am turned off by the fact a lot of it is math heavy. Due to the fact that I am in no way a math person under any circumstance besides algebra, being a science major just really isn’t for me. Although I won’t completely write science off, as most of it tends to be very intellectually captivating .
