Hi! My name is Eliana and I am from Montclair, New Jersey (really close to NYC). National Geographic actually instagramed a birds eye view of my town! I just came off of a gap year abroad in Israel, where I volunteered on an ambulance for the first half of the year and studied and got college credits for the second half of the year. It is weird being back in America and back in school, but I’m excited for another new experience!
I am currently in DUS, but interested in double majoring in psych and business. I have always been so intimidated by science and never felt connected to it. I’ve always liked and connected to human interaction and I never got the same feeling in science. I don’t have a strong enough connection with it to major in it. My advisor recommended this course for me saying that it might change my opinion on science. So far this class has opened my eyes to all different subjects that are under the umbrella of science. I really look forward to looking at science through a different lens and seeing how it affects my daily routine and life.
